You can view previously viewed patient records without entering a MRN, patient's name or room number. The "Recent Patients" function allows you to view a list of patients that you have previously viewed within a certain amount of time.

Benefits of using this feature:

• Patient wasn't entered on your PPL;
• Unable to locate the patient's name or MRN;
• You can customize the number of days for the previously viewed patients from one to 30 days.

Viewing "Recent Patients":

On the Easy Search screen in the blue navigation area under the "Patient Lists" section, click on the drop down arrow and select "Recent Patients."

You can customize your preferences to display the "Recent Patient List" as a default automatically after login by following these steps:

1. Log into Web/VS in the usual way;
2. Click the "User Profile" button in the lower left end of the blue navigation area;
3. Scroll down to "Web/VS Patient Display Configuration" and change the drop-down menu in the "Display After Login" section to "Recent Patient List";
4. To change number of default days go to "Recent Patients Default Days" click on the arrow and select your designated number;
5. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click the "Update My Profile" button.
