If the patient has the following conditions, he or she may be a candidate for single-lung transplantation:

• Alpha I antitrypsin deficiency
• Bronchiolitis obliterans
  
• Emphysema
• Eosinophilic granulomatosis
• Occupational lung disease
• Pulmonary fibrosis
• Sarcoidosis
