Your Weight Loss Surgery Patients: Selection, Pre-op Risk Assessment and Long-term Care - What Every Primary Care Physician Should Know

The Center for Minimally Invasive and Weight Loss Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medial Center is offering this one-day course to present management techniques for morbidly obese patients. The lectures will focus on teaching primary care physicians the current standards of practice as well as cutting edge treatments for morbid obesity such as: weight loss programs; indications for weight loss surgery, psychiatric/pulmonary/cardiovascular evaluation; pre-operative and post-operative management, surgical options for weight loss, and management of post-operative complications. Lectures will be presented by leading experts in weight loss surgery including Cedars-Sinai weight loss surgeons, gastroenterologists, internists, psychiatrics, pulmonologists, cardiologists, and dieticians.
