Failure to be Certified Will Result in Suspension of Surgical Privileges

All medical staff members who have been granted clinical privileges in the Departments of Surgery (including ophthalmologists but not optometrists), Obstetrics & Gynecology and Neurosurgery must complete online competency training for the elimination of Retained Foreign Objects prior to midnight on Friday, June 15.

What You Should Know About Bed Requests

Each day, Cedars-Sinai receives about 200 requests for a hospital bed for an admission. An average of six to 10 of those requests are for direct admits to a medical or monitored bed.

Viewing Inpatient & Outpatient Reports

You can configure your Web/VS user profile so that both inpatient and outpatient reports, or only inpatient reports, are displayed on the Medical Records listing. The default setting is that inpatient reports only are displayed.

ABIM Seeks Photos of Internal Medicine Specialists for New Website

The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) is requesting photos of physicians certified in Internal Medicine or ABIM subspecialties for inclusion on its new website. The ABIM would like to include actual board certified internists and sub-specialists rather than stock photography, either in a practice setting or engaged in a hobby.
