This open-label, randomized trial compared linezolid to vancomycin, oxacillin, or dicloxacillin in the treatment of seriously ill patients with intravascular catheter-related bloodstream infections including those with catheter-site infections.

The Broad Foundation Funds $1 Million Gift for Women's Heart Research

Cedars-Sinai has received a $1 million gift from The Broad Foundation to fund a women's heart research fellowship within its Women's Heart Center. Scientists selected for the one-year fellowship will study coronary microvascular function as well as a variety of other women's heart disease research topics.
