
The skilled physicians that are members of the Division of Rheumatology are highly involved in sharing their knowledge and experience with physicians in training through ongoing fellowship programs. In addition, they participate actively in research activities carried out by the division. This research includes National Institutes of Health and numerous foundation sponsored programs into the causes, cures and prevention of chronic rheumatic disease. Training includes clinical and laboratory activities. All aspects of rheumatologic disease are addressed, including inpatient consultation, continuity and ambulatory care and supervision.
