International Skeletal Dysplasia Registry

The International Skeletal Dysplasia Registry (ISDR) clinical consultation service is offered to you through your physician. The service is designed to provide a definitive diagnosis, if possible, based on your X-rays, photographs and other clinical information.

How To Request a Consultation

To have your case reviewed by the ISDR team of physicians, please contact the Program Coordinator directly at (310) 423-9915. You may also download the Demographic Information Sheet below. The Registry's hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pacific Time. Our fax number is (310) 423-0462.

Once your Demographic Information Sheet is completed, please have your physician submit it, along with your radiographs, photographs, complete clinic notes and any pathology reports.

Sending Your Records to the Registry

To obtain a review more quickly and to ensure delivery confirmation of these important reports, please have your physician send your completed Demographic Information Sheet and all X-rays and medical reports to: International Skeletal Dysplasia Registry, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, 8635 West Third St., Suite 665W, Los Angeles, CA 90048.

Please use an overnight delivery service with a tracking system (e.g., Federal Express or UPS).

Our Commitment

The International Skeletal Dysplasia Registry is fully committed to providing your physician with a diagnostic opinion. Once you have completed the necessary steps by having your Demographic Information Sheet, X-rays and medical reports sent to us, the Registry will review them. Our findings will be sent to your physician within approximately one month of receiving your information. After reviewing what has been sent, we may request additional X-rays, clinical information or photographs.

Research

In addition to clinical consultation services, we also offer the opportunity to participate in research. Parents of children with a skeletal dysplasia or individuals with a skeletal dysplasia who wish to participate as subjects in our ongoing research may contact us at 310-423-9915 and/or submit a Contact Form.
