Phillip J. Beron, MD

Radiation Oncologist

Phillip J. Beron, MD is an attending physician at the Saul & Joyce Brandman Breast Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with an office in the Outpatient Cancer Center at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute. His clinical expertise as a Radiation Oncologist is in breast, head and neck, and prostate cancers.

Dr. Beron, whose publications focus on breast-conserving therapies, is a dedicated researcher and has been invited to present his findings at conferences across the United States. He is a member of the Western Tumor Medical Group and Valley Radiotherapy Associates, and is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in the subspecialty of therapeutic radiology.

Dr. Beron received his medical degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, in 1990. His internship and residency took place at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI, where he was a member of the Cancer Committee and served as Chief Resident in radiation oncology. Prior to joining the Cedars-Sinai Outpatient Cancer Center, Dr. Beron was on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles where he was Medical Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology.
