Dwain Morris-Irvin, PhD, MPH

Research Scientist,
Neural Stem Cell Program

Dwain Morris-Irvin, PhD is a research scientist for the Maxine Dunitz Neurosurgical Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. His primary research interests include identifying new treatments for brain tumors and neurodegenerative diseases, such as Parkinson's disease.

Dr. Morris-Irvin's studies have been published in several peer-reviewed publications, including the Journal of Neuroscience Research and Journal of Biological Chemistry. His stem cell therapy for glioma research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Morris-Irvin received his bachelor's degree at Johns Hopkins University and his master's in public health at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He earned his doctoral degree from UCLA and completed his postdoctoral training at Lund University in Sweden.
